Intelligent, Autonomous Material Handling Systems
We now offer highly reliable and high-quality AGV systems, which seamlessly complement our range of robotic and layer palletisers, as well as wrapping machines. Empty pallets can be delivered to a cell, and finished goods can be transported either by AGV or LGV to one of our wrapping machines, the warehouse, or racking systems. LGVs use a rotating laser system to navigate around your plant, with a site map specifically tailored to avoid obstacles and ensure safety at all times. On the other hand, AGVs use Wi-Fi technology for navigation, employing self-learning technology with ‘Blue Botics’ software.

AGVs for UK & Euro Pallets
Counter balanced types for handling both UK & Euro style pallets, easily self programmable and simple to install.

Nipper AGV for Euro Type Pallets
Compact, unmanned vehicle for loads up to 1000 kg, featuring self-programming, wireless navigation, and fast charging.
Frequently Asked Questions About AGV & LGV Vehicles
AGVs navigate using Wi-Fi/vision and self-learning software (e.g., BlueBotics) and don’t need wires or reflectors. LGVs use rotating laser scanners and a mapped layout to localise and move safely around the plant.
UK (1000×1200) and Euro (800×1200) pallets as standard; other formats are possible depending on model and fork/tooling.
Model-dependent. For example, the compact Nipper handles up to 1000 kg with an adjustable lift height (up to ~223 mm). We’ll size the platform to your loads and racking/transfer needs.
No for AGVs (they learn routes via structures/contours and Wi-Fi). LGVs need a laser map of your site, but no invasive floor works.
Yes — they can deliver empty pallets to cells and take finished goods to wrappers, warehouse lanes or racking, integrating with your existing end-of-line controls.
Routes and tasks are edited in software; new missions or extra vehicles can be added without civil works, keeping downtime low.
Options include automatic opportunity charging. As an example, the Nipper supports automatic docking with about 30 minutes charge time (model-dependent).
Safety laser scanners with zones, emergency stop buttons/bumpers, warning lights (e.g., Blue Spot) and CE/UKCA-compliant guarding and interlocks.
Yes — turnkey supply, commissioning, operator training, maintenance and spares across GB and IE.
